ZA.1 Сфера застосування і суттєві характеристики
Цей стандарт підготовлено згідно з мандатом М/114 "Цемент, будівельні вапна та інші гідравлічні в'яжучі", виданого CEN Європейською Комісією та Європейською асоціацією вільної торгівлі.
Розділи даного стандарту, наведені в цьому додатку, відповідають вимогам мандату, виданого згідно з EU-директивою щодо будівельних виробів EU (89/106/ЕЕС).
Відповідність цим розділам підтверджує припущення щодо придатності кальцієво-алюмі- натного цементу, охопленого цим додатком, для передбаченого застосування, розглянутого в цьому додатку; посилання повинно бути дане на відомості, що супроводжує маркування СЕ.
ПОПЕРЕДЖЕННЯ - До будівельної продукції, що входить до сфери застосування цього стандарту, можуть бути застосовані інші вимоги та інші EC-директиви, які не порушують придатності для передбаченого застосування. Примітка 1. У доповнення до будь-яких конкретних положень стосовно небезпечних речовин, охоплених цим стандартом, можуть бути й інші вимоги до виробів, що входять до сфери його дії (наприклад, вимоги європейського та національного законодавства, правила та адміністративні положення). ZA.1 Scope and relevant characteristics
This European Standard has been prepared under a Mandate M/114 "Cement, building limes and other hydraulic binders" given to CEN by the European Commission and the European Free Trade Association.
The clauses of this European Standard shown in this annex, meet the requirements of this mandate given under the EU Construction Products Directive (89/106/EEC).
Compliance with these clauses confers a presumption of fitness of the calcium aluminate cement covered by this annex for the intended use indicated herein; reference shall be made to the information accompanying the CE marking.
WARNING - Other requirements and other EU Directives, not affecting the fitness for intended use(s), can be applicable to a construction product falling within the scope of this European Standard.
NOTE 1 In addition to any specific clauses relating to dangerous substances contained in this European Standard, there may be other requirements applicable to the products falling within its scope (e.g. transposed European legislation and national laws, regulations and administrative provisions). In order to meet the provisions of the EU Construction Products Directive, these requirements need also to be complied with, when and where they apply.

Вимога до певної характеристики не застосовується в тих країнах-членах (MSs), в яких немає нормативних вимог на цю характеристику для передбаченого застосування продукції. У цьому випадку виробники, що розміщують свою продукцію на ринку цих країн-членів, не зобов'язані ні визначати, ні заявляти про робочі характеристики цих показників їх продуктів і може використовуватися запис "Характеристику не визначено" (NPD) в інформації, що супроводжує маркування СЕ (див. The requirement on a certain characteristic is not applicable in those Member States (MSs) where there are no regulatory requirements on that characteristic for the intended use of the product. In this case, manufacturers placing their products on the market of these MSs are not obliged to determinenor declare the performance of their products with regard to this characteristic and the option "No performance determined" (NPD) in the information accompanying the CE marking (see ZA.3) may be used. The NPD option may not be used, however, where the characteristic is subject to a threshold level.

The system of attestation of conformity for the calcium aluminate cement indicated in table ZA.1 is shown in Table ZA.2 for the indicated intended uses(s), in accordance with the Commission Decision of 14 July 1997 (97/555/EC) published in the Official Journal of the European Communities and given in Annex 3 of the Mandate for the product family "Cements"

Підтвердження відповідності для кальцієво- алюмінатного цементу згідно з таблицею ZA.1 повинно здійснюватись відповідно до процедури оцінки відповідності, наведеної в таблиці ZA.3, в результаті застосування положень цього стандарту. Розділом 6 EN 197-2:2000 встановлюються правила щодо дій у разі невідповідності.
Розділ 9 EN 197-2:2000, який містить правила, що стосуються відвантажувальних центрів, не є частиною процедури підтвердження відповідності для нанесення маркування СЕ згідно з CPD. Країни-учасниці повинні забезпечити правильне використання маркування СЕ (Стаття 15.1 CPD) у межах своїх зобов'язань по нагляду за ринком. Розділ 9 EN 197-2:2000 The attestation of conformity to calcium aluminate cement in Table ZA.1 shall be based on the evaluation of conformity procedures indicated in Table ZA.3 resulting from application of the clauses of this European Standard indicated therein. Clause 6 of EN 197-2:2000 gives rules relating to actions in the event of non-conformity.
Clause 9 of EN 197-2:2000, giving rules relating to Dispatching Centres, is not part of the procedure of attestation of conformity for the affixing of the CE marking under the CPD. However, Member States, with their market surveillance obligations, must ensure that CE marking is correctly used (Article 15.1 of the CPD). Clause 9 of EN 197-2:2000 should be used for the corresponding national provisions concerning Dispatching Centres
