9.3 Conformity criteria for cement composition

At least once per month the composition of the cement shall be checked by the manufacturer, using as a rule a spot sample taken at the point of release of the cement. The cement composition shall meet the requirements specified in Table 1. The limiting quantities of the main constituents specified in Table 1 are reference values to be met by the average composition calculated from the spot samples taken in the control period. For single results, maximum deviations of -2 at the lower and +2 at the higher reference value are allowed. Suitable procedures during production and appropriate verification methods to ensure conformity to this requirement shall be applied and documented.

А.1 Змішування з іншими в'яжучими

Сульфатно-шлаковий цемент забороняється змішувати з іншими в'яжучими, такими як цемент, вапно, гіпс тощо, якщо він використовується у виробництві конструкційного бетону.

Транспортні засоби, бункери і транспортні системи повинні бути повністю розвантажені та очищені перед переходом на сульфатно-шлаковий цемент.

А.2 Застосування добавок для бетону

Для бетону з сульфатно-шлаковим цементом необхідно заздалегідь враховувати можливий вплив добавок на його довговічність і механічні характеристики.

А.З Вплив атмосферних факторів, розпалублення та догляду за бетоном

Особливий акцент необхідно зробити на вплив погодних умов, час розпалублення та відповідний догляд протягом укладання бетону, що містить сульфатно-шлаковий цемент, з метою досягнення високого ступеня гідратації.

А.4 Теплова обробка

Через спеціальний хімічний склад цементу необхідно приділяти особливу увагу при застосуванні термічної обробки для бетонів, що містять сульфатно-шлаковий цемент.

PRECAUTIONS RELATED TO THE USE OF SUPERSULFATED CEMENT

A.1 Blending with other binders

Supersulfated cement should not be blended with other binders such as cement, lime, gypsum, etc. when used in the production of structural concrete.

Transport vehicles, silos and conveying systems should be emptied and cleaned before the changeover to supersulfated cement.

A.2 Use of additions in concrete

It is necessary to consider in advance the influence on the durability of concrete and the mechanical characteristics when additions are used in concrete with supersulfated cement.

A.3 Effects of weather, striking and curing

Particular emphasis should be placed on the effects of weather, striking times and appropriate curing during the placement of concrete containing supersulfated cement to ensure that a high degree of hydration is reached.

A.4 Heat treatment

Because of its special chemical composition, special care should be taken when applying heat treatment to concrete containing supersulfated cement.

ZA.1 Сфера застосування та значимі характеристики

Цей стандарт було підготовлено на підставі мандату М114 (з поправками) "Цемент, будівельне вапно та інші гідравлічні в'яжучі", наданого CEN Європейською комісією та Європейською асоціацією вільної торгівлі для забезпечення засобів відповідності основним вимогам директиви нового підходу (89/106/EEC).

Розділи стандарту, наведені в цьому додатку, відповідають вимогам мандату, виданого згідно з ЄС Директивою будівельних виробів (89/106/EEC).

Узгодженість з даними розділами дає змогу передбачити відповідність сульфатно-шлакових цементів, які входять до сфери застосування цього додатка, їх передбаченим галузям використання, зазначеним в цьому стандарті; що повинно бути зазначено в інформації, яка супроводжує СЕ-маркування.

CLAUSES OF THIS EUROPEAN STANDARD ADDRESSING THE PROVISIONS OF EU CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS DIRECTIVE

ZA.1 Scope and relevant characteristics

This European Standard has been prepared under Mandate M114 (as amended) cements, building limes, and other hydraulic binders by the European Commission and the European Free Trade Association to provide a means of conforming to Essential Requirements of the New Approach Directive (89/106/EEC).

The clauses of this European Standard shown in this annex meet the requirements of the mandate given under the EU Construction Products Directive (89/106/EEC).

Compliance with these clauses confers a presumption of fitness of the supersulfated cement covered by this annex for the intended uses indicated herein; reference shall be made to the information accompanying the CE marking.

WARNING - Other requirements and other EU Directives may be applicable to the product(s) falling within the scope of this European Standard.

In addition to any specific clauses relating to dangerous substances contained in this standard, there may be other requirements applicable to the products falling within its scope (e.g. transposed European legislation and national laws, regulations and administrative provisions). In order to meet the provisions of the EU Construction Products Directive, these requirements need also to be complied with, when and where they apply.

Якщо вимога до деякої характеристики не застосовна в тих державах-учасницях (MSs), де немає жодних нормативних вимог, що стосуються цієї характеристики для використання продукту за призначенням, то в цьому випадку виробники при просуванні своєї продукції на ринок цих держав-учасниць не зобов'язані ні визначати, ні задекларовувати якість своєї продукції за цією характеристикою і познака "Характеристика не визначена" (NPD) в інформації, що супроводжує маркування СЕ (див. розділ ZA.3), може бути використана. Познака NPD не може бути використана у тому випадку, коли характеристика, що зазначається, знаходиться на граничному рівні.

ZA.2 Порядок підтвердження відповідності сульфатно-шлакового цементу

ZA.2.1 Система підтвердження відповідності

Система підтвердження відповідності сульфатно-шлакового цементу наведена у таблиці ZA.1 відповідно до рішення Комісії від 14 липня 1997 року № 97/555/ЕС, наведеного в додатку III мандату "Цемент, будівельне вапно та інші гідравлічні в'яжучі", наведена в таблиці ZА.2 для зазначених галузей застосування і відповідних рівнів чи класів.

The requirement on a certain characteristic is not applicable in those Member States (MSs) where there are no regulatory requirements on that characteristic for the intended use of the product. In this case, manufacturers placing their products on the market of these MSs are not obliged to determine nor declare the performance of their products with regard to this characteristic and the option "No performance determined" (NPD) in the information accompanying the CE marking (see Clause ZA.3) may be used. The NPD option may not be used, however, where the characteristic is subject to a threshold level.

ZA.2 Procedure for attestation of conformity of supersulfated cements

ZA.2.1 System of attestation of conformity

The system of attestation of conformity of the supersulfated cement indicated in Table ZA.1, in accordance with the Decision of the Commission 97/555/EC of 1997-07-14 as given in Annex III of the mandate for "Cement, building limes and other hydraulic binders", is shown in Table ZA.2 for the indicated intended use(s) and relevant level(s) or class (es).
